The first step is to identify WHAT foods you’re eating daily. Record meals on a food journal, then review this log at the end of the week. It is important to identify what food patterns your body has established i.e. time of day and frequency. The next steps go together hand-in-hand.
Frequency & Portion Control – Don’t Skip Breakfast
Many people wake up without much of an appetite, sometimes waiting 3-4 hours before eating their first meal. Waiting this long strains your body and metabolism. We have heard we should snack throughout the day, but what you eat and how much are both just as important. Smaller portions more times a day, with foods unprocessed or unpackaged. Avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup and unnecessary sugars/sweeteners. To detox you also must stay hydrated!! Lots of water!!
