What is Tomato 'Ketchup' today...

Your standard bottle of classic Ketchup that is in almost every pantry  contains Tomato concentrate (from red ripe tomatoes), distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, spice, onion powder, & natural flavoring.

The most noticeable difference between organic and conventional really is the difference between corn syrup/high fructose corn syrup and organic sugar. To get a better source of lyocpene and other nutrients without all the processed sugar, try making your own ketchup! (It will take some taste testing...)

Dr. Wang's Ketchup -No Processed Sugar

3 ounces tomato paste

3 T apple cider vinegar

1 T lemon juice

1/4 tsp celery salt

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp mustard powder

Pinch of nutmeg and clove

Pinch of black pepper

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Stevia, to taste

Dissolve spices in vinegar and lemon juice.  Add tomato paste and mix thoroughly.  Add additional lemon juice, vinegar, or a little water until desired consistency is reached.
